Amundsen & Riley Pool Services
- and Retail Store
Amundsen & Riley Pools has been installing vinyl pool liners for over 40 years all throughout northern New Jersey. Our vinyl pool liners are all custom measured by the company owner, then designed and manufactured by the professionals at Merlin Industries. This avoids issues that come with stock, off-the-shelf liners such as wrinkling, over-stretching or delays due to improper sizing. Amundsen & Riley Pools has been installing safety covers since their inception some 30 years ago. These safety covers are custom measured by the company owner, then designed and manufactured by the professionals at Merlin Industries which ensures a proper and safe fit for your specific pool.
For those pools with older or damaged safety covers we can offer new covers made to ensure a proper fit to the existing deck mounts by either using your old cover as a template or taking accurate measurements to avoid new installation.
Looking to enjoy your pool more by extending the season? Amundsen & Riley Pools has decades of experience installing various types of pool heaters and heat pumps. To prolong the life of your investment we regularly install these heaters with a custom fitted bypass so water flow through the heater can be shut off during times of the year when the water chemistry may not be safe.
We refer local plumbing and electrical contractors who we have been working with for years to offer assistance in all aspects of the installation.
We offer in-store repairs for some pool equipment such as some pool pump repairs, motor replacement, certain models of Polaris pool cleaners and filter grid replacements. Call for more information.
Pool Line Repairs & Replacements
We can pressure test your pool lines to determine if they are losing water and inform you of what repairs would need to be done. We offer a wide variety of pool plumbing work to help you with various needs; re-routing lines if you wish to move your filter system or add new equipment such as a heater or automatic cleaner booster pump, reworking old plumbing to fix small drips, make things look better, or ease of serviceability. If you are looking for a larger remodel we can run brand new pool lines and plumb entire filter setups.
Amundsen & Riley Pool Services can repair/install chlorinators, salt water generators, filters and pumps and any other pool equipment to help keep your pool clear and sparkling. Though we do not offer general maintenance services, we can troubleshoot any problem that your pool system may have, whether it's high/low pressure, no pressure, water loss, heater* issues or any other problem with your pool equipment. We also offer free water testing at our store.

Get your water balanced, check your system (and if you have a heater and plan to use it, check to ensure it works) well before the party. Any repairs will need to be scheduled, so please keep this in mind because we definitely want you to have an amazing and wonderful time! Due to scheduling and parts availability, last minute repairs may not be done before your event.
