Any time after January 1st each season you can call the store to schedule your opening/closing. They WILL NOT be scheduled with the service crew.
The earlier you call the better your choice of dates; the calendar often fills up fast.
All open orders must be settled before other services may be scheduled.

if we have to return due to any homeowner oversight (cover not out, no electricity available etc...) there will be additional labor charges

hello there

Opening Checklist

A few key things to remember when preparing for the opening of your pool

- ensure that your cover is clear and dry as much as possible (recent rainwater is OK)

any debris left on the cover may fall into your pool

the service crew will not be able to clear your cover for you

- check the water level, make sure it is mid-level of the skimmer

this is very important and ensures that the service crew will get your filter up and running

- the service crew will need access to water and electricity

to ensure equipment is clean and working properly to open your pool

- leave out opening chemicals and equipment

if you don't have any chemicals, the service crew keep a supply just for openings in the vans as well as equipment. So if you are short or missing anything, they are prepared! (additional charges will apply)

opening chemicals would be Double Dose of shock, tablets (for the chlorinator),DE (if you have a DE filter)

equipment would be your baskets (filter AND skimmer), wall fittings, pressure gauge and any other parts for the regular operation of your pool.  If we closed your pool last season we usually keep all the small stuff together. also: ladders, rails, rope floats etc.

we re-install heater burner trays for an additional charge

if the service crew are there for a length of time for repairs or anything else there may be an additional charge for labor per hour

we offer free water testing in our retail store

- If you have timers, please ensure the breakers are on

If you would like our service crew to deliver a bulk amount of chemicals at the time of your opening, please call our retail store OR send us a message through your portal link to place your order at least 3 days before your opening so that we may have the time to prepare your order for delivery.
